Stereo tube preamp with adjustable tube voicing, 48v phantom, digital outs, Supermodified (PS, tube, shielding/ground, noise spec, RF noise) - call for details HERE IS A LETTER TO ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS CONCERNING DIGITAL CLOCK MOD "FADS" AND OUR ART DPS MOD: Dear customer, First of all, the clocks, stability of the clocks, or any clocks, are not the real problem in digital. I have personally never seen a problem with them, and most BSEE agree with me. Modifications to any DAC are suspicious. I am aware of this current modification “fad” but I don’t spin it. The people who claim such improvements are suspect. More problems exist concerning super sonic digital clock noise spray into the audio circuitry, and correct grounding issues, which tend to be the real culprit. In fact, this is why dither noise is added in the DAC circuits to linearize the converter so it will not see incoherent noise bursts on the digital ladder. (bit converter) Whether it is a $20 circuit or $2,000 circuit, better grounding and shielding of the DAC, clock, etc will usually solve the problem of super sonic noise ingress into the audio circuitry. This labor typically costs around $66. In the future, these supposed high cost, esoteric mods will prove to have minimal value. If you want more information, feel free to call and I will explain more about my ART modification. Also feel free to read my website, www.audioproz.com which will also explain about the ART mod and some important theory of audible effects of clever tube enhancement.
