Please note: only specific and slightly rare "CFC" memory cards can be used with the Repeater. The power supply is also rare, and at times only an expensive "industrial grade" power adapter ($100+) may still be available. Because of this, getting a whole package together can be expensive. The modification, CFC card, and power supply might total $300+.

"I like these machines but I persue them with some hesitation now because I find so many in such poor condition as to make servicing unviable. If I were to resell a properly serviced machine it would cost $300 now. To be honest though, there have been breakthroughs in technology whereby the new effects units by Behringer, Zoom, and Electro Harmonix all do these same tricks with better, more reliable performance (and they are cheaper!) I personally use the Behringer EM600 echo machine which can even emulate tape echoes but with a quieter noisefloor, better bandwidth, and in stereo too (for $50)! If you are hellbent on staying old school, keep in mind I do still work on Effectrons and ADAs which are still $100 – 200. I understand that people like using these device for sentimental reasons so I am glad to help keep them running, but I must say that for functionality and use; better money is spent on the modern equipment." - Vince
