People should be aware that these tables can be found pretty cheaply, but they are almost always in troubled condition. DJ use leads to loosened tone arm bearings and loose center spindle and platter fit, causing faulty arm tracking and microphonics. I explain this because we see so many units here damaged this way! Our machines are for audiophile customers who need an honestly correctly working unit. Everything we sell has been serviced and thoroughly tested with professional equipment. We can mount a quality cartridge for you; we have a large selection listed on the website and many great bargains! All our carts are tested and working correctly; most were taken from tables that had sat idle for years or were otherwise damaged. Or, all too often, a special, expensive cartridge was chosen for a poor turntable! The Technics 1200 can operate just about any cartridge and is a truly audiophile grade turntable.
