Low use parts deck with good motor and head, bad belt and poor cover. Mostly intact. Uses motor MMI-6H2LWK. A note on Sony TC-WR665s and similar cassette decks: Many people ask about these machines, so here is a little info. Although they are a decent deck when running, this series had a tendency for the mech engage motor gear to break. They had a few other problems too: if the belt is the wrong tension, sometimes the unit will not allow the mechanism to cycle correctly, and if the cycle cam-finger positioner is sticky, the unit will not auto-reverse correctly. Occasionally the board connectors also get cracks at solder points. We sell the motors and gear assemblies, or we can service your machine if required. For best results, send us a photo of your motor, or write down the part number and have it on hand when you call.
