"I like these machines but I persue them with some hesitation now because I find so many in such poor condition as to make servicing unviable. If I were to resell a properly serviced machine it would cost $300 now. To be honest though, there have been breakthroughs in technology whereby the new effects units by Behringer, Zoom, and Electro Harmonix all do these same tricks with better, more reliable performance (and they’re cheaper!) I personally use the Behringer EM600 echo machine which can even emulate tape echoes but with a quieter noisefloor, better bandwidth, and in stereo too (for $50)! If you’re hellbent on staying old school, keep in mind I do still work on Effectrons and ADAs which are still $100 – 200. I understand that people like using these device for sentimental reasons so I’m glad to help keep them running, but I must say that for functionality and use; better money is spent on the modern equipment." - Vince | SOLD
